Nikki Martin, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience helping children build lifelong communication skills. She earned her B.A. from the University of South Florida (2004) and M.S. from California State University (2007), both in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She holds the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and is a two-time ASHA ACE award winner.

Nikki has worked in public schools, pediatric private practice, and early intervention, including serving Army families in Wiesbaden, Germany through parent coaching. These experiences deepened her expertise in stuttering, articulation, and language where she focuses on holistic, family-centered approaches that build easier speech and lasting self-confidence.

Passionate about one-on-one therapy, Nikki founded Sunny Promise Speech Therapy to deliver personalized, expert online speech therapy, where hard work and learning feel like play. She chose virtual private practice to create fun and easy-to-learn spaces, where children can master skills through laughter, imagination, and parent partnership.

Nikki truly listens, weaves expert techniques into silly songs, treasure hunts, and adventures, and celebrates every milestone like it's her own. Families and colleagues describe her as optimistic, patient, and deeply committed.

Outside therapy, Nikki is a proud mom of two grown children. She volunteers with Northwest Florida Special Olympics, cheering on her son in golf, bowling, and basketball. A Florida girl at heart, she loves hiking scenic trails, weightlifting with her husband, swimming at the beach, and singing along at concerts. These joys keep her energized to bring warmth, creativity, and genuine care to every session.
